Falcons vs. Ravens: How to Watch, Injury Report, Betting Lines, TicketsThe Baltimore Ravens host the Atlanta Falcons Saturday in a big game for both teams. Here's everything you need to know. The Atlanta Falcons face arguably the most important game of the season to date against the Baltimore Ravens this weekend. Rookie third-round pick Desmond Ridder will start his second career game, hoping to improve from his disappointing performance in Sunday's loss against the New Orleans Saints. The Ravens are also experiencing some drama at the quarterback position. The team is starting backup Tyler Huntley for the third consecutive week after Lamar Jackson injured his knee earlier this month. With Jackson out, the Falcons have a better chance to sneak a game out on the road in an attempt to keep their faint playoff hopes alive. The team currently sits in last in the NFC South, but just one game back of the first-place Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
With J. K. Dobbins finally 100%, having at least 120 yards in back-to-back games, the duo with him and Jackson would be nearly unstoppable. The balance of a regular run game, tied in with the threat of Jackson, brings the offense to a new level. They already had the second-best running game in the NFL, with their running backs struggling. There isn’t much to fear about the Falcons’ defense, allowing the tenth most points per game. They haven’t been able to stop the pass or run, so if Huntley does have to start, the ravens could maybe still win, but it would be a grind-it-out low-scoring game. Ravens Keep in the Running for the AFC North While both teams still technically have something to play for, it is much more real for the Ravens.

How To Watch the Atlanta Falcons vs the Baltimore Ravens
Ravens Need Jackson Back Last week the Ravens’ passing game could not get anything going. Tyler Huntley went 17-30 for 138 yards and an interception. The offense could only manage three points, with one interception coming in the red zone and Justin Tucker, out of character, missing two field-goal attempts, one was blocked. Getting Lamar Jackson back on the field will be a much-needed boost, with the offense scoring 19 points in his two-week absence. His arm is something the Ravens need, being an upgrade over Huntley, but the running ability might be the bigger of the gained advantages with Jackson’s return.
Cordarrelle Patterson got a good number of carries, with 14 for 52 yards, also adding a touchdown. Ridder added in six for 38 with a long of 18. Much of the offensive production rests on the shoulders of the Falcons’ run game and what it can do. That could be a challenge against the Ravens’ rush defense, which allows just 85. 6 yards per game on the ground. However, the Falcons have stayed with their rushing attack all season, third in attempts and yards in the league. Throwing all three of Allgeier, Patterson, and Ridder at the Ravens all game should eventually get them someplace.
Whether they win the division or not, there is a good chance they make the playoffs, but winning the AFC North would set them up with an easier road. Establishing a run game will be necessary for each team’s offense, but only the Ravens have the defense that has a chance to stop their opponent. The Falcons’ defense has not been able to slow down many teams. If Jackson returns, it could turn into a blowout, but if not, each team-run game should make the game a long grind.
